Overview:
Highland Milling LLC is a privately owned food and Agribusiness Company specializing in oat, barley, and rye natural foods and ingredients. We produce natural foods, conventional and organic, that are non-GMO. Our mill, located on the Caribou Highland in Southeastern Idaho, is in one of the best growing regions in the United States for oats and barley. We are a young milling company, founded in 2017, but we bring over 100 years of combined experience to the milling and grain-based food industry.
Summary:
The National Accounts Sales Representative will be responsible for meeting the annual sales objectives of Highland Milling LLC through the successful development and execution of a sales plan with a priority focus on key accounts found within those market segments considered priority for Highland Milling, LLC.

Key Responsibilities:
Establish and develop relationships with key management, production, technical, and sales personnel at key accounts that are critical to the success of Highland Milling LLC.
Establish and develop healthy relationships with brokers, distributor and manufactures at all levels.
Work with Management to develop and execute a sales and marketing plan.
Work with Management and Purchasing to coordinate all sales activity.
Work with Management and Purchasing to develop and maintain price policies.
Work with Management and Quality Assurance to provide required food safety and nutritional documents.
Work with Management and Quality Assurance to manage any and all customer complaints and/or quality issue.
Understand local market dynamics and incorporate as necessary into sales plans.
Consistently update and maintain accurate Company databases and pertinent business information.
Provide pertinent reports to Management.
Professionally represent Highland Milling, LLC, maintaining a high moral and ethical standard.
Manage business consistent with Highland Milling LLC’s Terms of Sale and Credit Policy.
Qualifications and Relevant Experience:
Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4-year college or university. Food Science, sales, or related degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years sales experience in the food or pet food industry with demonstrated sales achievement.
Must have the ability to reliably communicate, verbal and written, in a straightforward, forthright professional manner.
Be self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to influence others while being professional in conduct and presentation is key.
Strong organizational skills.
Dynamic personality, entrepreneurial, quick learner, positive attitude, great work ethic, team player and flexibility. A must.
Capable of multi-tasking to manage unexpected demands from daily activities.
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Presentation.
Travel Required:
Up to 50%
