We are looking for an individual(s) with strong communication skills who is high energy, self-directed, and results oriented. We hire individuals who want to make trading in this industry their career of choice. This business and industry are unique, so the majority of our training is “on the job” learning. CERCO Group is an excellent company with a strong industry reputation, and many of our employees have been with us for decades.
Our compensation for an entry-level ingredient trader starts at up to $60,000 per year base salary.
We pay you this amount as you learn the business and build your supplier and customer base.
We provide a generous commission structure, and an experienced trader can earn well into six figures after only a few years. We provide health benefits, 401K and profit-sharing plan benefits, and company ownership.
Job Responsibilities:
Trained to source various ingredients from suppliers and sell them to customers in the feed and food industries.
Build relationships with our established account base while cultivating relations with new companies.
Work closely with our logistics team to arrange the transportation for each transaction.
Buy and sell ingredients globally.
Trade with people both inside and outside of the company.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Strong interpersonal communication skills

As an Ingredient Specialist Intern at CERCO Group, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a company that has a strong industry reputation. This role will provide hands-on experience in various aspects of ingredient trading, including market research, supplier relations, contract negotiation, and partner management. The intern will work closely with our experienced trading team, gaining insight into the intricacies of the global ingredient market and contributing to the success of our trading operations.

Job Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging opportunities in the ingredient industry.
Assist in sourcing high-quality ingredients from domestic and international suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Support the trading team in negotiating contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of trade with suppliers and clients.
Collaborate with internal departments, such as logistics and finance, to facilitate smooth execution of trades and timely delivery of products.
Maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and market data, utilizing internal databases and systems.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Business, Supply Chain,, Agriculture, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret market data and financial information.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
